The 21-year-old, who is secretly enjoying a breakout season with Orlando, is getting some well-deserved exposure after his strong hitting streak. Black is averaging 15.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.3 steals while shooting 46.5 percent from the field.
The Magic (23-18) are clearly counting on Buncher and Franz Wagner of Berlin to lead the way, but the former Arkansas standout would likely be key to Orlando’s potential rise in the Eastern Conference. He will relish the moment and try to break out some more heroics in the London side’s clash with Memphis on Sunday afternoon.
