Anthony Edwards and Desmond Bain check out
Today we find two regulars, Anthony Edwards etc Desmond Banewas called to order because he threw the ball “by force” into the stands. Misconduct that will cost each $25,000 in fines.
The first one is taken hand in the bag (touching a passing guard) during halftime of the Wolves’ win against the Blazers on Tuesday night. Desmond Bane was overwhelmed with his excess enthusiasm after the Magic beat the Lakers that same night. Throwing the ball into the stands is still a prohibited gesture and the NBA announced its sanctions yesterday.
This is the first major deficit of the season for Anthony Edwards, who has been pretty smart so far with “only” ten technical fouls, one that is only getting closer $600,000 fine in a career.
Desmond Bain’s record is less eloquent (just over $120,000 in total), even if the former Memphis player has already “stood out” several times this season. with a few gestures of frustration…
