Anthony Edwards’ injury status against the Grizzlies

Anthony Edwards is dealing with back spasms, while Julius Randle has a sore left thumb. Edwards’ 33 points led his team to a 131-114 victory against the Grizzlies on Saturday, as his status for Monday’s game remains open to speculation. Randle added 27 points on 11-for-17 shooting, including 4-for-5 from deep, seven assists and seven rebounds in Saturday’s 17-point victory.
Edwards’ commitment to defense helped lead to 18 Grizzlies turnoverskeeping them at bay as the Timberwolves cruised to a double-digit victory. Edwards was named one of the Western Conference All-Star Reserves by the NBA. Anthony reached his fourth All-Star game in six years.

Randle is also averaging career bests in several statistical categories, including free throw percentage (81.9%) and steals (1.2), while posting 22.3 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game this season.
