Anthony Joshua pays tribute to late friends with heartfelt tattoos

Anthony Joshua he will always have his friends back.
The former two-time unified heavyweight champion was participated in a fatal traffic accident it claimed the lives of his personal trainer, Latif Ayodele, and strength coach, Son Gami, who died in an accident that occurred on December 29 while they were visiting Nigeria.
Joshua is now paying tribute to his late friends with tattoos, according to a statement from Fulham Tattoo in London.
“A huge thank you to two-time World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua for walking through the doors unexpectedly and unannounced a few weeks ago on his first visit with us at Fulham Tattoo London… what a walk,” the tattoo shop captioned the photo of Joshua getting tattooed. According to comments, the boxer tattooed “Latz Son” in honor of his friends.
Joshua has broken his silence on the incident in a video on Instagram.
“It’s hard. It’s really hard. I’m not going to sit here and show all my emotions,” Joshua said on social media. Addressing the loss, he further claimed, “I’ve lost people before, but I don’t think I’ve lost people like this. My left and my right.”
He went on to give special praise to those who helped him and his friends at the scene of the accident, as well as when he returned to London for medical attention.
“I also want to take this moment to show a huge thank you to the first responders, everyone who rushed to help Lac and Sina, those who helped me get to the hospital and all the locals who prayed for us at the scene.”
“To the doctors and nurses at Laguna Hospital Ikoji, including Dr. Ogunyankin, Dr. Tosin Majekodunmi and Dr. Ninalowo, thank you for your care. My thanks also go to the British Deputy High Commissioner and Deputy Head of Mission, Simon Field,” Joshua wrote. “I would also like to thank Uncle Femi Otedola and Alhaji Aliko Dangote for all their logistical support. Without you guys, the transition back to the UK would not have been as smooth. You really went above and beyond.”

Following the deaths of Ayodele and Ghami, the driver, Adeniii Mobolaji Kaiode, was charged back in January with dangerous driving, reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care and driving without a valid driver’s license.
