Given their questionable injury status, there are currently doubts as to whether Edwards or Morant will be able to play Wednesday night.

Edwards has missed the last two games with a right foot injury, and sustaining the injury was cited as the reason for his questionable appointment on Wednesday. Morant played in the Grizzlies’ last game, a win over the Los Angeles Clippers, but was listed as questionable with a sprained left ankle for the Timberwolves game.

Meanwhile, Tee Jerome, GG Jackson, Zach Edey, John Kanchar, Cam Spencer and Scotty Pippen Jr. everyone will miss the game for different reasons.

For the Timberwolves, Mike Conley will be out with right Achilles tendonitis.

Overall, the Timberwolves played well in Edwards’ absence, picking up two wins over the weekend, including one against the Golden State Warriors in Stephen Curry’s rematch.

The Grizzlies have also played some quietly improved basketball of late, closing in on the .500 mark after a disastrous start to the season.

Either way, the Grizzlies and Timberwolves are scheduled to tip things off on Wednesday at 8:00 PM ET.
