Arizona State football brings former Purdue CB to transfer portal

The Arizona State football the team had a great season on the field as they won the Big 12 and made the College Football Playoff. Now they are seeing success pay off on the transfer portal as many boys want to come and play for the Sun Devils. Arizona State made three commitments on the transfer portal on Monday, and the latest one is Purdue cornerback transfer Kindrich Breedlove. Breedlove is another boiler manufacturer CB to commit to Sun Devils on Monday as Nyland Green committed earlier in the day.
“BREAKING: Purdue starting transfer CB Kindrich Breedlove has committed to Arizona State, he tells @on3sports,” Hayes Fawcett said in a post. “Overall 5’11 188 CB had 40 tackles, 4 PD and 3 INT this season. There will be 1 year of qualification left.
Kydrich Breedlove is very familiar with the transfer portal as he has been on it three times now. He started his career at Ole Miss back in 2021, then transferred to Colorado and played with the Buffaloes during the 2023 season before transferring to Purdue ahead of the 2024 competition. Arizona State will be Breedlove’s fourth school.
Back in 2021, Breedlove had just one total tackle while playing for Ole Miss. He was able to make a bigger impact in Colorado as he finished the 2023 season with 12 total sacks and one forced fumble. However, last year with Purdue was certainly his best.

Breedlove had a breakout season with the Boilermakers this year as he totaled 40 tackles, four passes defensed and three interceptions. He was a key player on defense and should be able to make an immediate impact on the Arizona football team.
Purdue had a rough season in 2024 and decided to move on from their head coach after a 1-11 season. The Boilermakers finished in second place with an 0-9 conference record and finished last in the conference. Because of this, Purdue is seeing a lot of players enter the transfer portal.
Now that Arizona State is starting to excel on the football field, they are starting to see it pay off on the transfer portal. The the future of the Sun Devils looks brightand players from all over the country want to come and be a part of it.
Monday was a good day for the Sun Devils. They picked up a commitment from Kindrich Breedlove, Breedlove’s Purdue teammate, and the Arizona State football team also picked up a wide receiver transfer from Alabama. Things are definitely moving in the right direction for this program.
