Austin Reeves, Brony James delight fans with alley-oop vs. Heat

Even without LeBron James, who is still recovering from a sciatic injury, Los Angeles Lakers were a must-see spectacle this season behind Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves.
The prolific guards led the Lakers to a 4-2 record before facing the Miami Heat on Sunday with his high feats. But they were also unselfish, as Doncic and Reaves are willing passers, allowing the Lakers’ offense to hum.
In the first quarter against the Heat, Reaves connected with Bronnie James for a slamming into the alley with rapture on hiatus, sending the Cripto.com Arena into a frenzy.
It’s worth noting that it started with defensive stops, something that coach JJ Redick has repeatedly championed.
Fans went wild on X after witnessing the top game of the 27-year-old Reaves and the 21-year-old James.
“LeBron’s family (are) the only people who can catch them,” he said @PlayoffLAL.
“Brother turned Brony into a meme and a moment,” he added @iamskrptd.
“He got bunnies, oh my god,” wrote @BronGotGame.
@rimasmith327 couldn’t help it raise a very famous play.

“We need that Bron to Brony Alley-oops next,” published @julesbernard123.
“No, he stood up for that lob, honey!” commented @UknovTiG.
The younger James struggled to make an impact this season due to limited playing time. But it’s not for lack of trying. Many applauded his work ethic despite his lack of playing time. An incredible dunk in the lane against Vrelina should only boost his confidence.
The Lakers are looking for their third straight win.
As of this writing, they lead the Heat by double digits, 77-63, at halftime.
