Ayo Dosunmu opposes Tree Young by ‘patting him on the do**’

On Tuesday evening, The Chicago Bulls picked themselves up their fourth consecutive victory with an away win via the Atlanta Hawksmarking the second straight game they have won in Atlanta. The Bulls trailed in this game for most of the way, but eventually came from behind to pull away with a late fourth quarter rally.

One controversial moment occurred in the fourth quarter of this game when the Hawks were guarding Trae Young argued with the Bulls wing Aio Dosunmuresulting in technical fouls for both players. The incident appeared to have started when Young patted Dosunmu on the rear end as he passed him, and after the game, Dosunmu kept blunt about his reaction to it.

“I guess Chicago boys don’t like to be patted on the back when they walk off the field?” asked one reporter, per MrBuckBuck on X, formerly Twitter.

“Well, no man would like that,” said Dosunmu.

Just before Young and Dosunmu’s altercation, Hawks forward Jaylen Johnson went one-and-one against Bulls second-year player Matas Bouzelis and talked some trash, which may have sparked what happened between Young and Dosunmu a few feet away.

Overall, the Bulls seemed to use the incident as a source of momentum going into the game, as they took over the contest from there, constantly punishing the Hawks around the basket.

For the second straight game, the Bulls survived a last-second attempt by the Hawks at the buzzer, although this time it was a half-court shot by guard Nikhil Alexander-Walker.

Either way, the Bulls are now back at .500 after a rough couple of weeks, and will look to continue that momentum on Friday when they host the Philadelphia 76ers. That game is expected at 7:30 PM ET.
