Bad Bunny pays an emotional tribute to Brazilian football legend Pele

Following his recent success in winning a Grammy Award and extremely successful ones at that performance on Super Bowl 60 Halftime Show, Bad Bunny was recently in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where he paid an emotional tribute to the country’s soccer legend, Pele.

Recently, during his concert in Sao Paulo, Zeca wore the iconic jacket worn by Pele at the World Cup in 1966. Bud Bunny borrowed it from a collectible sporting goods store and used it in his concerts in Sao Paulo last week, which was also his first in Brazil.

As well as wearing and flaunting Pele’s iconic jacket and jersey, Zecca also paid an emotional tribute to the legend when he made a change to the lyrics of his song ‘Monaco’, changing the lyrics (translated from Spanish) to ‘score after Pele and Maradona’ instead of ‘after Messi and Maradona’.

Pele is probably one of the most respected and celebrated football legends around the world. He died at the age of 82 in 2022, his Instagram profile expressed his gratitude star of DTMF and shared Zeka’s look and recognition from the concert.

“Pele has always been holy. And when a Latin artist of the stature of Bad Bunny pays tribute to the King on Brazilian soil, we understand that the crown continues to shine. Thanks for the tribute, Benito.”

On a recent edition of his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul opened up about the prospect of facing Bad Zack in the WWE match at WrestleMania. “Let’s pull the fucking curtain back. I’m gonna stop bullshitting. Bud Bunny is a world famous superstar. He can also be a WWE superstar when he wants to. He’s a good wrestler. He can fucking wrestle,” Paul said. “There’s been talk about maybe wrestling. That’s been around. I’ve been honest about the fact that I’d love to do it. I think it would be the greatest WWE match of all time. I really believe that.”
