Baltimore cuts offensive lineman due to suspension



The The Baltimore Ravens made a roster move on Thursday ahead of their Week 18 matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After serving a three-game suspension, the organization decides to release the offensive lineman from the team.

Reports indicate that Ben Cleveland, who is a five-year veteran quarterback for the Ravens excluded from the listaccording to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Cleveland’s tenure with the franchise ends after serving as a rotational guard through 2021.

The 27-year-old inside offensive lineman was suspended for three games this season after pleading guilty in early November 2025 to DUI. The alleged incident happened back in February 2025. Cleveland received a one-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty.

It was said that when Cleveland was withdrawn in February, recorded by BAC (blood alcohol concentration) of 0.178, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. That’s twice the legal limit of .08.
