Baltimore is hiring a new OC who is the same age as Lamar Jackson
After the hiring of Jesse Minter as head coach, it appears to be Baltimore Ravens they have locked in a new offensive coordinator for whom they will look for plays Lamar Jackson next season. It’s an intriguing hire, though, since the new OC is the same age as the club’s star quarterback.
Reports indicate that the Ravens they employ Declan Doylewho was the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears last season, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Doyle will call the plays in Baltimore, something he hasn’t done for the Bears. That means it’s considered a promotion for Doyle, so he can leave and take the job.
“ESPN sources: Baltimore Ravens hire Bears offensive coordinator Declan Doile as their offensive coordinator. Doile can leave because he’ll have call-calling responsibilities in Baltimore. But new Ravens HC Jesse Minter now has someone to lead Baltimore’s offense.”
Schefter also claims that Doyle and Jackson both are 29 years old. Doyle is now officially the youngest offensive coordinator in the NFL.
