Bam Adabejo dropped the “maniac” label on Erik Spoelstra

Miami The heat went through some ups and downs over the past few weeks, but they seem to be starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and their win against the Detroit Pistons showed that. The third quarter was the highlight for the Heat, and they managed to win the period 31-27. after the game Bam Adebayo shared how important it is it’s for the head coach Erik Spoelstra for them to dominate the quarter.
“Definitely a conversation,” Adebayo said, via the Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman. “But more than that, our mentality going into the third.. We feel like we have a slump to start the third. Our coach is a maniac, and he’s going to point it out and try until we fix it.”
“So we did this right, keep it up so he can get off our backs.”
Jaime Jaquez Jr. also shared the importance of their performance in the third quarter, which can help decide the game.
“I mean, you know, we’re just coming out with a different energy, a different mentality,” Jaquez said. “We’re really just trying to assert our presence and our dominance. Especially if we have the lead in the next half, we want to come out and be really strong.”
The Heat are now on a three-game winning streak after losing eight of nine at one point in December. Injuries crept up on them, and Tyler Hero is sidelined with a toe injury. It’s uncertain when he’ll return to the floor, but as of late, the Heat have been playing well in his absence.
Players like Norman Powell have had to carry the scoring load for the offense, and Kel’el Ware has been a beast in the paint this season.
