Bam Adebayo, A’ja Wilson steal the spotlight after a playful moment
The Miami Heat troops to the United Center on Thursday to face the Chicago Bulls. The game, however, has yet to launch, at the time of writing, due to unsafe playing conditions.
According to multiple reports, the floor is too slippery, which could lead to injuries among players.
While many are concerned about the long delay, the Heat center Bam Adebayo he doesn’t seem to mind. He took advantage of it by spending time with his girlfriend, Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson, on the court.
Adebayo and Wilson were caught on camera playing shyly with the ball.
Wilson, who lives in Las Vegas, flew more than 2,500 miles to Chicago to support her boyfriend. Unfortunately, her cheering will have to wait, as venue staff are still working on the floor. Wilson has been spotted several times watching Adebayo’s matches.
Of course, fans had to share their reactions to X after the power couple’s feel-good moment.
“A True Story of Love and Basketball in the Making,” he said @Teazi_313, which refers to the popular movie released in 2000.
“Everybody’s going to expect their kids to be the future of the NBA.” he added @kungfukenn_eth.

Adebayo and the Heat are looking to bounce back from Tuesday’s 122-94 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Wilson, meanwhile, is enjoying her vacation, as the WNBA is on hiatus. The four-time MVP opted out of playing in Unrivaled for the second consecutive season.
Adebayo and Wilson started dating in 2024.
