Bam Adebayo reveals 1 problem that annoys Erik Spoelstra to no end

MIAMI – With The Miami Heat will play the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday in the evening, the team tries to avoid a certain aspect that got on the nerves of the team and the head coach Erik Spoelstra. Although it is The Heat suffered a big loss against the undermanned Chicago Bulls on Saturday, the team would come back in a big way for the second game of the back-to-back to beat the Bulls 134-91.

The 43-point victory is tied for the third-most in franchise history, but the result is actually part of the frustration Miami has had in some ways. Captain Heat Bam Adebayo would express to ClutchPoints what he has “frustrated” Spoelstra, which is that they can score 134 points like on Sunday, but in the next game they are eliminated.

“How do we react, that we responded with that kind of play,” said Adebayo when asked what he liked most about the victory, as he recorded 20 points and nine rebounds in 22 minutes. “You know, that’s the thing that Spo is frustrated about, you know, we can go out and get 134 one night and then the next night it seems like we’re not connected. You know, everything just falls apart. So for us, it’s how can we just sustain the way we’re playing.”

Miami has been chasing consistency this season, and January has featured up-and-down play as the team won’t win back-to-back games until the end of the month. For an impressive third-year player Jaime Jaquez Jr., he would express that they are “tired of sickness and fatigue.”

“We just want to keep the momentum going,” Jaquez said. “I think everybody here is tired of being sick and tired. And I think that’s the mentality we had going into this game.”

As it is A warm look to escape eighth seed purgatory, along with a spot in the play-in tournament as they have been for the past three seasons, the goal is to repeat the early success they had, as they went 14-7 to start.

It doesn’t help that players have been in and out of the lineup like Tyler Hero, who has missed a total of 40 games this season, along with Norman Powell, who will miss his third straight game because “suspicious” with personal reasons. However, if there was one thing that stood out for Spoelstra after the 43-point win over the Bulls, it was their response.

“There are a few takeaways, but one thing I told our group that we definitely had something“, Spoelstra told ClutchPoints. “You know, we’re able to respond; we have the best record in the league on the second night Back to Backs. It shows that we have some toughness, and the guys really care and want it; it was a good response; it was a long week, and it was a unique one back.”

“You know, like I said, when guys were warming up at 3:30 when we left here at 11:30 last night, it was different,” Spoelstra continued. “It felt like an AAU weekend or something. But the guys didn’t make an excuse for it, and they played with great energy, played the right way. And it was great to see, you know, we know we have to work on our consistency. And you know, we’re going to keep improving until we get there.”

Either way, Miami is 27-24, which currently puts them in seventh place in the Eastern Conference heading into Wednesday’s game against the Hawks.
