Barack Obama’s hilarious hit on Reggie Miller during the All-Star game

A host of celebrities and personalities were at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Sunday to attend the NBA All-Star game. Among them was the former president Barack Obamawho is widely known as a basketball nut.

Growing up in the Windy City, Obama watched Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls are creating a dynasty 1990s. To this day, even as the Bulls have struggled to regain their lost glory, Obama remains an avid follower of the NBA.

During the NBA All-Star Game, he asked him Reggie Miller if he had a favorite memory from the Bulls dynasty. Obama, always rash, did perfect answer.

“I always enjoyed watching us beat Indiana (the Pacers),” Obama said, throwing shade at Miller’s team.

“Although I will say that no one scared me more than Reggie Miller with a potential three-point shot at the end of the game. You pushed Michael away on that one move, though.”

Obama was referring to Game 4 of the 1998 Eastern Conference Finals between the Pacers and the Bulls, in which Miller buried the game-winning 3-pointer. Miller pushed Jordan on their inbound play to break free and receive the ball. The Pacers evened the series, 2-2.

The no call remains one of the most iconic moments in NBA history. For some, it was a shrewd move by Miller at a crucial moment, while others claim it was a pure offensive foul.

The Bulls won the series 4-3 and ended up winning their sixth title.

Now, is there any way for Obama and Miller to battle it out in a shootout at halftime of next year’s NBA All-Star game?
