Barkley pays tribute to Roman Reigns on Inside the NBA

The The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Denver Nuggets 127-121 in a thrilling game all around. Shai-Gilgeous Alexander played a major role during his return after missing nine games, scoring a game-high 36 points with nine assists on a whopping 12-29 shooting.
at half time, Charles Barkley had a hilarious comparison and shout out for VVE superstar Roman Reigns as he tried to explain how the game went on ESPN’s Inside the NBA.
“Shout out Roman Reigns.” 😂

“Hey, give it to me. Cheers to Roman Reigns,” he told Kenny Smith after explaining that the match went down more like it belonged in the postseason rather than the regular season.
“You can tell by the difference in intensity. You don’t see this much fouling, elbowing and wrestling. These teams know they’re going to play each other sometime in the playoffs,” Chuck explained.
Barkley then explained that both teams wanted to send a “mental message” to each other and came out “with a completely different energy.” And well, that was clear in more ways than one.
These two teams played in last year’s Western Conference semifinals, which ended 4-3 in favor of the eventual champions. The tension boiled over with 8:03 left in the fourth quarter when Thunder defensive ace Lou Dort made a difficult hook/trip combination against three-time Denver MVP Nikola Jokic.
Jokić responded immediately, finishing the game with an incredible 23 points, 17 rebounds and 14 assists. A huge brawl ensued at midcourt, during which Jokic appeared to grab Oklahoma City’s Jaylin Williams by the hair before they pulled on their jerseys.
Regardless, SGA rested in overtime and the Thunder pulled away, with Chet Holmgren coming back with a monster double-double of 15 points, 21 rebounds and three blocks. Rookie Jared McCain had 14 points off the bench and OKC came out on top despite Jamaal Murray also returning with 39 points, eight rebounds and six assists.
