Billy Donovan reveals how Kobe White got his ‘pop’ back in win over Mavericks

After was suspended against the Miami Heatthe Chicago Bulls came back with a vengeance to beat the Anthony Davis-less Dallas Mavericks 125-107. Although they are they were shadowed from the Bears/Packers NFC Wild Card game across town, the Bulls got ready for the game.
This was especially true of Coby White. Recent calf injury that should have sidelined him for at least a week, White seems to be in a good position again. He led all scorers with 22 points and grabbed four rebounds. White exceeded the 25-minute limit by two minutes and played 27:59 minutes. Then, the head coach Billy Donovan explained how White got his “pop” back, especially in the second half.
“I thought in the second half he got his Pop back,” Donovan said. “He looked explosive, he was getting to points, he was really good in transition. I thought he was defending. I thought he looked good physically. He was trying to work on getting his body feeling like it normally does.”

In the process, the Bulls snapped a three-game losing streak and are now 18-20.
Six other Bulls scored in double figures.
In addition to White, six other Chicago players managed to score in double figures. Ayo Dosunmu was right behind him with 20 points and led the way with eight assists. Plus, Dosunmu led the way with three 3-pointers on four attempts.
He also shot 7-for-9 (77.8%) from the field. In addition, Dosunmu has now scored in eight straight games dating back to December 27th against the Milwaukee Bucks.
