Bradley Beal ready for preseason debut against Warriors

The Los Angeles Clippers will participate in their final preseason game against Golden State Warriorsand one of their projected starters is ready to debutaccording to NBA insider Chris Haynes.
“Star of the Los Angeles Clippers Bradley Beal (The knee) is expected to make his preseason debut tonight in the exhibition finale against the Golden State Warriors, league sources tell me,” Haynes wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
Beal had a minor knee problem it kept him out for most of the preseason, but it was never going to be something that kept him sidelined for an extended period of time. The Clippers will likely bring him along slowly, which shouldn’t be a problem with all the talent they have on the team after a busy offseason.
Beal was one of the team’s bigger additions after him and the Phoenix Suns agreed to a buyout. Bill had several suitors, but the Clippers caught his eye the most.
At the Media Day, he explained what led to this his decision to join the Clippers.
“This situation, in particular, was very pronounced,” Beal said, via ClutchPoint’s Tomer Azarly. “Just in terms of who Steve Ballmer is and how he does it and what he stands for, his passion is unmatched. I feel like with his ownership of the league. And then L. Frank has been around for a long time. He knows the game, he knows the players, he knows the staff. And then (Tyronn Lue). T-Lue was in a previous relationship. Me and Misso had another relationship. Me and Misso. Coming here, it’s just everything made sense.
“James, I talked to James throughout the process and their pitch was just, obviously, it was better. It was better. It made more sense and was more appropriate. I felt more confident and comfortable about, you know, the role and the situation that I was walking into. So it kind of aligned.”
Beal will now have a chance to prove to outsiders that he can still produce at a high level, and he has the right team around him to do so.
