Brandin Podziemski takes issue with ignorance in the Draymond Green-Steve Kerr battle

On Monday night, The Golden State Warriors picked up second consecutive home win via the Orlando Magic. The win lifted Golden State back to the .500 mark in what has been a turbulent season so far, and Stephen Curry led the way with 26 points.

Despite the win, this game was largely overshadowed by the bitter feud between the two Draymond Green and Steve Kerr on the sidelines during a timeout that was captured on amateur video, which ultimately led to Green running into the locker room and not returning to the game.

After the game, Warriors guard Brandin Podziesmki asked for his perspective about the incident, but didn’t have many details to offer.

“I haven’t seen or heard anything… everything will be figured out,” Podziemski told Oh No, It’s Not on X, formerly Twitter.

Podziemski was then asked if the team rule is that a player leaves the bench and is then done for the game.

“I have no idea,” Podziemski said.

Although Podziemski won’t be getting any scouting offers anytime soon, he had a nice game against the Magic on Monday, scoring 16 points with four rebounds and five assists in the win.

Overall, the Warriors are looking for ways to regain the momentum they established at the start of the season with wins against the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets in the first week of the campaign. The Warriors fell off a cliff shortly after that opening hot streak, but maybe Monday’s win over a good (albeit injured) Magic team will be the spark they need to get back on track.

It remains to be seen whether the team will discipline Green further for his altercation with Kerr.

The Warriors next take the floor on Christmas Day at home against the Dallas Mavericks.
