Brandin Podziemski’s Stephen Curry boasts that he caught the eye

Golden State The Warriors have lost one other road game this seasonand it was their sixth straight road loss. The Warriors have been up and down this season, and after starting strong, things have seemingly cooled off for them. Draymond Green has never been shy to share his thoughts, and after a 126-102 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, he noted that he didn’t feel like the team was committed to winning and had a plan.

The word agenda seems to have caught the eye of many, and there are a few people that come to mind when it comes to that term and the Warriors, according to ESPN’s Anthony Slater.

“When the term ‘agenda’ enters the mix, attention tends to shift to the two youngest members of the Warriors’ core who have been open about their desire for more — the third-year guard Brandin Pod Ziemia and fifth-year forward Jonathan Cumminga,” Slater wrote.

“Podziemski made a number of comments ahead of the season about his long-term career ambitions, including when asked at a press conference if he wanted to be as great as Steph Curry,” Slater continued. “Podziemski said he ‘wants to be better than him,’ a response that drew some stares and continued references from several within the organization. Podziemski’s numbers (12.0 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.1 assists) are relatively stable from last season.”

As for Podziemski, he still hasn’t shown a real spike in his career where a team might feel comfortable handing him the keys after Curry is gone. He still has a lot to work on, and it’s uncertain whether he’ll ever hit that next gear, which is why the organization feels that way.
