Brian Kelly fired after a dismal loss to Texas A&M

The The LSU Tigers made a big decision to move on from Brian Kelly following their most recent loss to the No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies.

LSU made the decision to fire the head coach on Sunday, according to On3 insider Pete Nakos. They lost 44-23 on Saturday night, prompting the home crowd to call for Kelly to be fired as the team fell to a 5-3 record.

Kelly joined the program in 2022 with the goal of being a consistent College Football Playoff contender. However, that goal was ultimately unsuccessful during his four seasons at the helm. He finished his tenure with a 34-14 record, including a 19-10 showing in SEC Play and three bowl titles.
