Bronie James will make his first start in the 2025-26 season against the Bucks

The Los Angeles Lakers (9-4) continue to deal with injuries and absences at the start of the 2025-2026 NBA season, and as a result, unlikely players are getting new opportunities. Bronnie James will start in Saturday’s showdown with the Milwaukee Bucks (8-5), via Dave McMenamin of ESPN.
Marcus Smart, who is battling illness, joined Rui Hachimura in the exclusion from the competition. James will try to step up and provide significant support to the team led by Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.
