Brooklyn rested several players against the Nuggets on a six-game losing streak
The Brooklyn Nets will be shorthand on Thursday vs Denver Nuggets as they try to snap a six-game losing streak. On the front end of the back-to-back, the Nets are resting Egor Demin (left plantar fascia), Noah Clowney (lower back) and Cam Thomas (tendons) for the treatment of injuries. Zaire Williams will also miss the game with a left calf contusion.
Terence Mann is questionable due to back pain.
Demin sat back-to-back for most of the season after missing most of the offseason with a torn plantar fascia. Thomas hasn’t played back-to-back since returning from a months-long layoff with a hamstring injury, his fourth in the past year. Meanwhile, Clowney has missed Brooklyn’s previous two games with a lower back ailment.
Williams was injured in the fight during the final minutes of Tuesday’s 106-102 loss to the Phoenix Suns.
Nets resting Egor Demin, rest against Nuggets despite six-game losing streak

The Nets have lost 14 of their last 16 games. They rank 29th in offense, 29th in defense and last in net rating (-13.3) during that span. There is a cold part brought them within one game in first place in the draw table.
Meanwhile, the The Nuggets have won nine of their last 11 games despite battling a series of injuries. Nikola Jokic (left knee; bruise), Aaron Gordon (right knee; sprain), Cam Johnson (right knee; bone bruise) and Christian Brown (left ankle; sprain) will not play on Thursday.
Jamal Murray (right calf; left hip inflammation/inflammation) and Jonas Valanciunas (right calf; strain) are probable.
The Nets will face the Utah Jazz on Friday.
