Brooklyn rules Michael Porter Jr., Egor Demin against the Bulls after a win over the Wizards
The Brooklyn Nets give two of their best players the night off after the win over Washington Wizards. Michael Porter Jr. and Egor Demin are ruled out for Monday’s match with Chicago Bulls.
Brooklyn listed Porter’s status as right knee tendinitis, while Demin was given the night off to rest.
Porter suffered what he called a “slight” MCL sprain during a Jan. 7 win over the Orlando Magic. However, he did not miss any time due to injury. meanwhile, Demin got a few nights off to deal with injuries, most of which occurred in back-to-back games, after he missed most of the offseason with a torn plantar fascia.
The night off for Porter and Demin comes after the Nets snapped a three-game losing streak with a 127-113 win over the Wizards on Saturday.
