Bulls-Heat game postponed due to field issues



Thursday evening game between Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls It was expected to be a fun run and shoot game for everyone in attendance. Instead, fans in Chicago went home unhappy after the NBA announced the game had been postponed.

League published an explanation via the NBA’s social media communications department.

“Tonight’s NBA game between the Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls at the United Center has been postponed due to moisture on the floor making the court unplayable,” the announcement read.

“The date of the postponed game will be announced later.

On Wednesday night, the Chicago Blackhawks hosted the St. Louis Blues in the same arena. In all likelihood, the problem stemmed from that.

Miami entered Thursday’s game looking to get back on track after being destroyed by the Minnesota Timberwolves, 122-94. In that loss, shooting guard Tyler Herro was long expected. However, he came off the bench in the defeat.

Earlier on Thursday, it was announced that Hero would be in the starting lineup against the Bulls Kel’el Ware back on the bench.

Meanwhile, Chicago, 17-20, is three games behind Miami in the Eastern Conference. They want to end their three-game losing streak. The last two were against the top two in the conference in the Detroit Pistons and Boston Celtics.
