In his fourth season, Jalen Duren, along with Cade Cunningham, is a big reason why the Pistons have been the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference for most of the season. His first All-Star nod was abundantly clear given what he means to the team’s defense and his role as one of the top scorers.
Duren averaged 17.7 points on 63% shooting, 10.5 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game this season. He is only 22 years old. While the Pistons’ future remains bright, Duren is a big reason why.
The Pistons have won 10 of their last 13 games. Detroit’s 38-13 record is second only to the defending champion Thunder (40-12).
Jalen Duren misses Pistons’ win against Knicks with knee injury
