Caleb Williams received an endorsement from Ben Johnson

The Chicago Bears looked dead in the water after the Green Bay Packers took a 16-6 lead with five minutes left in Saturday’s game. But Chicago kicked a field goal, recovered the onside kick and put together a two-minute drive to tie the score at 16-16, forcing overtime.

A missed fourth-and-goal kick in overtime gave the Bears a chance to complete an incredible comeback. I Caleb Williams scored on a 46-yard field goal pass to DJ Moore.

After an unforgettable 22-16 victory, Ben Johnson spoke passionately his starting quarterback. “He always plays when he needs to. That’s the way he carries himself,” Johnson said in a postgame press conference. “He’s always even-keeled. He understands the situation so, so well.”

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
