Chandler Parsons Demands Ja Morant To ‘Stop Doing Stupid S**t’
Recently, the Memphis Grizzlies picked up their second straight win with a road win over the Dallas Mavericks, without Ja Morant in the lineup. However, the biggest story to come out of that game was the feud between Morant and Klay Thompsonwith Thompson having harsh words for the former All-Star after the game.
One person fed up with Morant’s antics is the former Grizzlies forward Chandler Parsonswho recently participated in the FanDuel show “Run It Back” in express your frustration.
“Why are we always talking about Ja Morant and something outside of basketball? … I just wish Ja would grow up at some point and stop doing stupid sh**t,” Parsons said, per Run It Back on X, formerly Twitter.
Morant has really become more known for his off-field incidents than his on-field play over the past few years, continuing this season. Earlier in the 2025-26 campaign, Morant was suspended for a game after publicly calling out the Grizzlies’ coaching staff in a postgame press conference, and a heated confrontation with Thompson certainly did nothing to help bring the focus back to basketball.
When he was on the court this year, Morant was a disaster, with his shooting percentages plummeting and the shooting star seemingly uninterested in helping his teammates.
All of this has left the Grizzlies with a 6-11 record so far this year, and some are already calling for the team to start exploring Morant’s trade ideas. It’s been a rapid decline for a team that just a few years ago looked like it could be a powerhouse in the Western Conference.
Either way, the Grizzlies will take the floor next on Monday night at home against Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. That game is scheduled to begin at 8:00 PM ET.
