Charlie McAvoy leaves the Panthers game early after taking a foul hit

The Boston Bruins and the Florida Panthers face off in a pretty important contest when it comes to the Eastern Conference playoff race. The Panthers are trying to chase Boston in the standingswhile the Bruins look to continue to establish control over a playoff spot. For now, however, the focus is mostly on the health of defenseman Charlie McAvoy.
A Bruins defenseman skated with the puck Wednesday night. He entered the neutral zone and passed the puck on the ice. Panthers forward Sandys Vilmanis delivered a dirty blowleaping to make contact high up with McAvoy. The Bruins star left the game after this hit.
