Assuming no downtime, White is expected to play against the Pistons.”
Last season, White averaged a career-high 20.7 points per game while shooting 45.3 percent from the field and 37 percent from deep. Donovan said on Friday that he did “just a box” According to Sports Illustrated, the white to check would be in contact.
“The only box he needs to check right now is contact, and we just haven’t been able to do that,” Donovan said. “Saturday will be the day we go back to training or contact, so I think that would be his monitoring when we go back to training, so that’s the one hurdle he hasn’t cleared that the medical staff want to see how he reacts.”
The Bulls’ Kobe White was expected to return in the opener

With rumors that White and the Bulls are discussing a new contractit shows the confidence the franchise has in the guard to continue to improve. Still, White wants to come back stronger from his calf injury, but Chicago doesn’t want to rush the process.
“When you have a calf injury like he has, I don’t care how hard he’s worked — and he’s worked really hard — you’re just never going to be in the shape these guys are in,” Donovan said. “It’s going to be a challenge for him, and it’s going to be his process to get back on the floor.”
Either way, White will be back next Wednesday for the opener against Detroit.
