Chris Paul has announced that he plans to retire after the 2025-26 season, which will be his 21st career campaign. After a long, illustrious career, the veteran star finally decides to hang it up.

The 40-year-old point guard will end his career as a 12-time All-Star, 11-time All-NBA Team (four First Team, five All-Second Team, two All-Third Team), nine-time Defensive Player of the Year and was the 2006 Rookie of the Year. The NBA world couldn’t help but jump on social media and share their reactions to Chris Paul’s decision to retire.
