Christian Brown is happy to be a long-term player in Denver
The last night, for the 2022 recruits, to extend the contract, did not go well only two players this Monday: Dyson Daniels and Christian Brown. The latter therefore signed, at the buzzer, an extension worth $125 million and five additional seasons.
“Negotiations aren’t really my thing. It felt a bit like I was against them for a while, but it went well. I’m really very happy with the result, I’m very grateful to everyone involved.”, comments the Denver quarterback, who claims he hasn’t been rushed by the negotiations even if he recognizes a certain amount of stress during this stretch.
Now behind him, and his old salary with it as of this season, Christian Brown is receiving $4.9 million and will average 25 over the next five. Quite a change in scale.
“He deserves every dollar he gets”estima son of the trainer, David Adelman. “It is good to see someone who is successful not only with his talent but also with his work. That is very important. In our league we bet on what can happen in the future and we pay for it. This result was deserved at every stage. The fans and everyone could watch him. We saw his progress, his confidence. »
The Nuggets player, under contract until 2031, is primarily satisfied with being a long-term player in Denver.
“I was drafted here. I never changed schools or teams in high school. Not even in college. I don’t want to change teams in the NBA. I want to be here.”announces the 2023 NBA champion. “I want to be a part of what’s happening here, the success that’s going to happen in Denver.”
