Cleveland Cavaliers 139-132 Charlotte Hornets: Kon Knuepel the fastest to 100 three-pointers
Charlotte Hornets rookie Kon Knuepel became the fastest player to make 100 three-pointers in the NBA during a 139-132 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The 20-year-old, the fourth pick in the 2025 draft, reached the milestone in just 29 games when he scored in the first quarter at Rockets Arena.
Lauri Markkanen of the Utah Jazz held the previous record of 41 games while playing for the Chicago Bulls in 2017-18.
Knueppel hit five of nine three-pointers against the Cavaliers and finished with 20 points, while LaMelo Ball had 23 and Brandon Miller had 20 for the Hornets.
But Donovan Mitchell scored 30 points, DeAndre Hunter 27 and Darius Garland 27 with 10 assists for the Cavaliers.
The Cavaliers are seventh in the Eastern Conference, and the Hornets are 12th.
