Cleveland radio host falls after Joe Flacco’s win

The The Cincinnati Bengals may have temporarily saved Zach Taylor’s jobwhile the fans mocked the Browns by singing. It was all too much for one radio host from Cleveland, who collapsed afterwards Joe Flacco broke the steelers on thursday night football.
In what sounded like a near-crying voice, the announcer said Browns general manager Andrew Barry was handing over to the Bengals keys to victoryaccording to a post on X by Ari Meirov.
“How could you do that, Andrew?” Tony Rizzo shouted. “How could you do that? Why on earth did you feel the need to trade this guy to a division opponent for a fifth round draft pick? Dangerous offense. I want to know how long the owner is going to watch this shit?”
A radio host in Cleveland seems to have missed a key point
Let’s look at this from the Browns’ perspective. And let’s assume that in the NFL, teams want to make the playoffs. Had the Steelers won that game last night, they would have been four more games into the losing column than every team in the division. The game is over.
But with the loss, not only the Bengals, but also the Ravens and Browns remain on the sidelines. Before you scoff at that, consider the reality.
Steelers KB Aaron Rodgers is ancient. He might not make it through the season. If he comes out, any team could win that division. And who will fear that Flacco will lead the Bengals to sustained success?
Honestly, the team that benefited the most is the Ravens. If they bring Lamar Jackson back soon, this loss by the Steelers is an open door.
So, going back and forth, there’s no reason for Browns fans — including Ritz — to be upset about this trade. Keeps the Browns in the hunt for at least a week or two. Again, assuming they haven’t already finished the season.
Flacco is a desperate move for the Bengals. He is 40 years old, going hard to 41.
However, the host moved on.
“Your GM screwed up this quarterback thing like I’ve never seen,” Rizzo whined. “I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. The kids playing Madden could have done a better job. Really. That’s not hyperbole. That’s a joke. This franchise has become a joke. And I’m sick of it.”
Ut-oh. You better not mess with the Madden kids. And by the way, he said it was “not hyperbole.” It means he truly believes a kid with Madden experience as his only qualification could do Barry’s job. That stupid statement delegitimizes his every word.
