Clippers news: Kawhi Leonard blinded by reporter’s camera light

On Saturday night, The Los Angeles Clippers are back into the win column with a comfortable home win over the underdogs rival Los Angeles Lakers from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. They led the Clippers with 32 points and 12 rebounds Kawhi Leonardwho has continued to put up routinely monster stats this season despite his team’s struggles.
After the game, Leonard did a postgame interview in front of his locker, where a reporter’s camera light became a little distraction for Clav.

“Making a movie? Turn that s*** off. S***,” Leonard said.
Moments of ease have been rare for the Clippers this year, currently sitting at 7-21 and well below the playoff line in the Western Conference. Los Angeles was able to use several of the Lakers’ injury absences on Saturday night, including three starters in Rui Hachimura, Austin Reaves and DeAndre Ayton, which certainly contributed to the win.
Meanwhile, Luka Dončić, who scored only 12 points in 20 minutes of action, also left the game early due to a leg contusion.
Overall, the Clippers’ struggles this year have led some fans to wonder if a trade is on the horizon for some of their key players, including Leonard and James Harden. Teams would certainly pay a premium for the services of either of those two stars, even given their huge salaries, ages and injury concerns.
For now, though, the Clippers will hope to start quietly putting together wins and get back into the mix in the Western Conference before it’s too late.
Los Angeles will take the floor next on Tuesday night at home against the Houston Rockets. That contest is scheduled to end at 10:30 PM ET.
