13. Oppa

Oklahoma stays alive in the playoff race after a huge win in Week 10. Facing Tennessee, the Vols held a 10-7 lead in the first quarter, but three second-quarter goals gave the Sooners the lead. John Mateer passed for just 159 yards and an interception, but ran for a touchdown with just 1:44 left in the game. Oklahoma would make another field goal, but would win the game 33-27.

The Sooners head into Week 11, but are headed to face Alabama after the week.

14. Texas

Texas is coming off a huge win over Vanderbilt. However, expectations should be tempered. Texas won its fourth straight game since losing to Florida. They dominated much of the Vandy game, but the fourth quarter was a disaster. Texas put up 21 points in the fourth and nearly gave up an onside kick to give Vandy a chance to win the game. Ranks 12-14 could go in any order, though, and it would be fine.

Texas has a week off before visiting Georgia.

15. Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech has controlled the ACC and has now fallen from the ranks of the undefeated. North Carolina State scored touchdowns on its first two drives and never relinquished the lead from there. The Wolfpack won the game 48-36. Georgia Tech has a week off to regroup before facing Boston College on the road.

19. Utah

When Utah wins, they win big. When Utah has won, they’ve won by 25 or more points every time, and this week was no different. They faced 17th ranked Cincinnati and dominated, winning the game 45-14. At 7-2 and 4-2 in conference play, they likely won’t be in the hunt for a playoff spot. The Utes have a week off in Week 11 before hitting the road to face Baylor.

20. Memphis
