Cole Anthony was ejected from the Kings game after Russell Westbrook’s play

Cole Anthony out of Milwaukee Bucks match against Sacramento Kings on Saturday night due to the ejection he received after interacting with Russell Westbrook.

Anthony is in his sixth season in the NBA, his first with the Bucks. He has been productive off the bench with his scoring and playmaking, helping Milwaukee get off to a good start this year.

However, in the first minutes of the fourth quarter, a mishap occurred. He defended Westbrook as he tried to go past the screen, but the officials called him for a foul.

He waved to the referee who called himresulting in his second technical foul of the night. This ended with him being ejected, ending his time on the court against Sacramento. After 13 minutes of play, Anthony finished with three points, five assists and two rebounds.

It was a premature ejection for Cole Anthony as he was unable to help the Bucks beat the Kings as they lost 135-133. It was their first home loss of the season.

Milwaukee had the momentum throughout the first quarter, leading 47-36. They lost control in the second and third periods as Sacramento outscored them 72-55 in those stretches. This proved crucial as the hosts were unable to recover from their fourth quarter woes.

Free throws and technical fouls made the difference in this match. The Kings won both categories as they made 35-of-40 shots at the line and had no technicals. It wasn’t the same for the Bucks, who made just 20 of 31 attempts while picking up four technical fouls.

Six players scored in double figures for Milwaukee. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the team with 26 points, 11 rebounds, eight assists, a steal and a block. He shot 8 of 13 from the field, including 1 of 1 from three and 9 of 14 from the free throw line. Next came Kyle Kuzma with 22 points, Gary Trent Jr. and AJ Green each had 17 points, while Ryan Rollins and Bobby Portis added 16 points each.

The Bucks will look to bounce back in their next game as they are on the road. They face the Indiana Pacers on November 3rd at 7pm ET.
