Colts named Trey Hendrickson reasonable trade suitor
As Cincinnati Bengals star Trey Hendrickson is involved in trade speculationthere are other teams, such as the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers, that have been linked to the pass rusher. With The Bengals’ defensive lineman is dealing with a hip injurythis NFL insider brings up another team that could potentially be a trade suitor.
In ESPN’s latest football column, Jeremy Fowler would respond to a talking point about the chances of trading Hendrickson before the trade deadline or at all. Fowler would say yes Indianapolis Colts “make a lot of sense” as a team currently set to compete with a 7-1 record, plus there is some connection as a reunion could be had with former Cincinnati defensive coordinator Lou Anarum.
“A hip injury that has hampered Hendrickson’s last two weeks on the court has been complicated, although the injury is not considered serious and Hendrickson should be ready to go, either for Cincinnati or someone else,” Fowler wrote. “The Colts make a lot of sense as a contending team that could be the proverbial ‘one player away.’
The Bengals have “turned down” trade talks regarding Trey Hendrickson

Doc Hendrickson was originally good for the Bengals against the New York Jets on Sunday, he would end up being sidelined, but the injury doesn’t appear to be long-term and likely won’t affect his play this season. There’s no doubt teams will call about Hendrickson, though at this point the team has “turned down trade inquiries,” as Fowler said.
“Up to this point, the Bengals have been dismissive of trade inquiries, with sources saying Cincinnati has no current plans to trade Hendrickson,” Fowler wrote. “The Cowboys and 49ers are among the teams interested, though San Francisco made a pass rush move Tuesday night.”
“The question is: Will the Bengals’ win-loss record change things? A loss to Chicago on Sunday would drop Cincinnati to 3-6. The AFC North should remain open for a while — an 8-9 or 9-8 record might be good enough this season — so maybe the Bengals hold on to that hope and keep their No. 1 offensive lineman,” F.
Either way, it remains to be seen what will happen with Hendrickson and whether he will be traded to another team by the Nov. 4 deadline.
