Cooper Flag leaves the Nuggets game with an ankle injury
DALLAS— Dallas Mavericks rookie star Cooper Flagg out of the game Wednesday night against the Denver Nuggets with a sprained left ankle. The Mavs made the announcement shortly after halftime.
Flagg suffered an apparent concern on Monday with an ankle injury that did not appear particularly serious. He then left Wednesday’s game for several minutes in the second quarter after apparently injuring his ankle. However, he later returned and finished the half on the floor.
The Mavs later released an injury update in the third quarter.
