There is no doubt that Flagg has a great basketball IQ. It therefore gives him the freedom to know who and what defines greatness.

Growing up in Newport, Maine, he would routinely study old clips of Larry Bird and the Boston Celtics from the 1980s. Plus, he gave his props to other greats like Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Not only that, but he studied legends like Bill Walton and more contemporaries like Kevin Love.

So, with that in mind, it should come as no surprise that Flagg would praise Jokic’s play and learn something from it.
