It was a deficit the Ducks ultimately couldn’t overcome, as The Hoosiers went to their first College Football Playoff final. This is just the latest benchmark in Cignetti’s incredible work with the program. In just two years, Cignetti turned a struggling program into one that is being talked about as one of the best teams in CFP history.

Indiana will now have a chance to end their undefeated season with a championship. The Hoosiers will meet the Miami Hurricanes in the College Football Playoff final. Miami is coming off a stunning win against the Ole Miss Rebels. Fernando Mendoza and the Hoosiers’ dominant offense will be tested against one of the best defenses in the nation.
