DeMarcus Cousins continues to hate Steve Kerr with Jonathan Cummings

One of the biggest stories in recent times for Golden State Warriors was a relationship with Jonathan Cumminga and Steve Kerrwhich has largely kept Kuminga out of his rotation for the past few months. Kuminga finally returned to the lineup the following Tuesday Jimmy Butler tore his ACLending their season, but that still doesn’t look like it will be enough to smooth over tensions.
Most recently, the former Warriors big man DeMarcus Cousins doubled to his distaste for Kerr’s handling of the situation.
“…once again we’re overlooking it and kind of sweeping it under the rug. As something has to be said, something has to be done as to why situations like this continue to happen under Steve Kerr’s watch when it comes to young talent?” Cousins wondered, according to FanDuel’s Run It Back show, via Hoopshipe.
Relatives also personally assaulted Kerr.
“And this is a coach with an ego. We all know that. We know that,” he said.
Relatives said earlier that the Warriors are “better off” bringing Kerr back as their head coach next season.
Cousins played under Steve Kerr during the 2018–19 season, starting multiple NBA Finals games for the Warriors that season in their loss to the Toronto Raptors before returning to the league for the next few seasons.
Meanwhile, Kuminga recently demanded a trade from the Bay Area, but it’s unclear at this point how many suitors there are around the league who would be willing to part with any significant assets to land the former 2021 lottery pick.
Butler’s injury would seemingly open up a consistent spot for Cummings in the forward rotation, but it doesn’t look like it will be enough to resolve the situation.
Either way, the Warriors next take the court on Thursday night against old friend Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks.
