Dennis Schroder calls Cade Cunningham a ghost after the MVP chant

In the middle of the game, an interesting interaction between Cade Cunningham and a former teammate Dennis Schroder it followed. He looks like a Pistons star he hasn’t been in touch much with Schroeder even after the two battled together in the postseason last year, and the German floor general let Cunningham know what he thought about it.

This could simply be banter between two former teammates. Schroder changes teams so often that it can be difficult to keep track of where he is and what he’s doing, and maybe Cunningham is just someone who isn’t very active in keeping in touch via social media.
Still, it was Schroder who had the last laugh that night anyway.

The Pistons decided not to bring back Schroeder after he played a key role in their playoff run last year, which was ended by the New York Knicks after six games. But now that Schroder is back with a contending team in the Cavs, he has a chance to get revenge on the team that let him go last year.
And in the night, Schroder gave at least one back to the Pistonsand this could very well be a preview of a potential second round matchup in the East.
