Denver upgrades Christian Brown for Thunder game

On Sunday night, The Denver Nuggets will hit floor at home for the big game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on national television. Christian Brown is on the injury report for this game, currently listed as questionable with a sprained left ankle. Here’s everything we know about Brown’s injury and his status heading into Sunday’s game against the Thunder.

Christian Brown’s game status against the Thunder

Given his questionable mark on the injury reportit is unlikely that Christian Brown will be able to fit in this competition. However, Brown’s status in the report is still an upgrade as he has been sidelined for some time with an ankle injury, so even if he is unable to go tonight, a return appears to be on the horizon for the former Kansas Jayhawk.

Meanwhile, Nikola Jokic was not listed on the injury report after recently returning from a knee injury to help Denver beat the Los Angeles Clippers over the weekend at home. Cameron Johnson and Aaron Gordon will remain out of the Denver lineup.

For the Thunder, Alex Caruso is out with a right adductor strain, while Ajay Mitchell will also be sidelined with an abdominal strain. Jalen Williams will also be out with a hamstring injury.

The game will mark a rematch of last year’s Western Conference semifinal series between the Thunder and the Nuggets, which Oklahoma City ended up winning in seven hard-fought games. Many fans and pundits alike see Denver as Oklahoma City’s biggest challenger in the Western Conference this year, and the Nuggets have done a great job of holding down the fort in Jokic’s recent absence.

Either way, tip-off is set for 9:30 PM ET from the Ball Arena in Denver.
