Desmond Bane hits a ‘magical’ shot behind the backboard against the Raptors
Desmond Bane made a magical climax during Orlando Magic’s match against the Toronto Raptors on Monday night.
Bain is in his sixth season in the NBA, his first with the Magic. He has been key to the team’s solid start this season as one of their top scorers and playmakers.
The star guard decided to bake with his shooting ability. He held the ball while turning and tried to jump behind the table. Fortunately for him, the ball successfully went through the hoop, even to the delight of the crowd in Toronto.

It was an impressive strike for Desmond Bain during the game. However, he and the Magic lost to the Raptors 107-106.
Orlando controlled the momentum through the first three quarters and held a 94-84 lead. However, the offense went cold as it produced just 12 points, allowing Toronto to rally and win.
Rebounds and inside goals made the difference in this match. The Raptors won in both categories by securing 58 rebounds and scoring 58 points inside the line. It wasn’t the same for the Magic as they grabbed 52 rebounds and scored 42 points inside the paint.
Four players scored in double figures for Orlando in the loss, including Bain. He finished with 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and a block. He shot 6-of-18 from the field, including 1-of-4 from beyond the arc and 5-of-5 from the free throw line. Anthony Black led the team with 27 points and three assists, it was Paolo Banchero’s turn with 23 points and 15 rebounds and 10 assists, while Tyus Jones recorded 10 points and four rebounds.
Orlando fell to an 18-15 record on the season, holding onto fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are tied with the Miami Heat while trailing the Toronto Raptors by 1.5 games and the Boston Celtics by two games.
The Magic will look to bounce back in their next matchup as they are on the road. They face the Indiana Pacers on December 31st at 3:00 PM ET.
