Devin Booker is 100% real on Stephen Curry wearing shoes

PHOENIX – Devin Booker and Stephen Curry are extreme competitors on the field, but the respect they have for each other is something else.

Since when Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors star playing in the 2024 Olympics, the relationship grew. After Booker was named the unsung MVP of those Olympics, it was Curry who stole the show.

But for the Suns star, playing against one of his idols is something he won’t take for granted. And since Curry is a free agent on the shoe market after ending his contract with Under Armour, Booker sent him a pair of his latest sneakers, the Book 2’s.

Seeing Curry wear them left Booker stunned

“It’s really hard to put into words,” Booker said after the game. “Thinking about the Olympic Games and the possibility to share with him, not only the floor, but also to get to know each other off the court.”

But it’s not just about finding the hottest free agent on the sneaker market. It is about a a relationship of trust and respectrooted in the game of basketball.

Competition aside, it’s a big move for whoever Curry decides to become his next sneaker partner. Booker offering his latest sneaker in a custom Warriors colorway is cool to see.

He’ll have another chance to impress on Saturday, as the Suns travel to the Bay Area to take on Golden State. Maybe then more Book sneakers can lead Curry to make a decision on a new sneaker deal.
