Devin Booker, Jaylen Green injury schedule shared by Jordan Ott
The fact that it is Phoenix Suns going 31-22 this season heading into Tuesday night’s matchup against the Dallas Mavericks is pretty remarkable. Devin Booker missed 11 games with a series of injuries, the latest of which was a nasty ankle turn, and Jalen Greenthe key return they got in the Kevin Durant trade has missed all but six games this season so far.
With the Suns locked in contention for a playoff spot, they will want both Booker and Green to be fully healthy for a long run. This becomes a point of focus for Phoenix as they find themselves in a back-to-back set with a showdown against the Mavs on Tuesday, followed by a showdown against the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday.
According to AZ Central’s Duane Rankin, Suns head coach Jordan Ott said they will “check in” on how Booker and Green react to tonight’s workload against the Mavericks and continue from there regarding their status for tomorrow’s game.
Their matchup against the Thunder will be their last game before the All-Star break, so the Suns might see fit to have Booker and Green undergo some sort of limit testing since they have a week off after tomorrow night anyway.
The Suns are going through the 2025-26 season, despite being in the deficit

It seems like the Suns will never be able to get their entire team healthy. Just as Booker and Green planted their feet, Grayson Allen, who did a wonderful job filling in for the two, is currently out with a knee injury and will be re-evaluated after the All-Star break.
Regardless, this is nothing new for the Suns, as they have done extremely well in preparing the next man up. Colin Gillespie, who has been terrific for the Phoenix this season, will continue to play a bigger role in the team moving forward.
