After a huge success Nike book 1debuting in early 2024, it was only a matter of time before Booker and Nike teamed up for the next signature sneaker. Eventually, the leaks came and the Nike Book 2 was revealed, taking some serious inspiration from the classic Nike Air Spiridon running shoes.

The Suns visited the San Antonio Spurs just a few days ago to renew a rivalry from the 1990s. Booker paid tribute to the city of Austin, Texas and the University of Texas Longhorns by rocking the orange colorway of his signature sneaker for the first time. While Phoenix lost the game 121-94, Booker was easily rocking the cleanest shoes on the court.

Nike Book 2 β€œTexas” PE

Debuting the new sneaker, we see a sparkly orange Nike Swoosh as a signature detail, fitting the Texas Longhorns theme while fitting in perfectly with the Suns’ color scheme. The Spyridon-inspired mesh upper comes in neutral white and black hues to further accentuate the orange swoosh. The shoes are based on a black and white midsole and outsole, making them one of the cleaner Book 2 PEs we’ve seen recently.

While there’s no word on an official release behind this particular PE, fans shouldn’t be surprised if this remains exclusive to Booker’s growing collection. However, there have been plenty of times where one of his PEs has manifested in a public release, so there’s always a chance you’ll see Booker’s shoes make it onto retailer shelves.

What do you think of this latest colorway of the Nike Book 2?
