“You can’t watch him play and not realize how much he’s changed the game,” Vanderbilt coach Clark Lee told ESPN. “There are many good players. For me, there are only a few who can take over a game, and he is one of them.”
The Commodores still have a lot of football left to play. Missouri will enter the Vanderbilt game with a 6-1 overall record.
“At the end of the day, we still have a lot of season left and we’re going to celebrate this win,” Lea said. “I think we’ve earned the right to celebrate that. But this game won’t define our season. And this team has a lot more to achieve.”
Time will tell if Vanderbilt can win the SEC.
