“He wanted to know more about shooting so he came to me last year… He wanted to know every little detail about the feet, the hand position, the breathing, where the eyes go – he asked me all kinds of questions. One main thing I told him about: finger position on the ball,” Nowitzki said via @NBA_NewYork on X (formerly Twitter).

OG Anunoby leads the team in the Knicks NBA Cup triumph over the Spurs

Anunoby may have led all scorers with 28 points on the night, but he was just one of seven Knicks players to score in double figures on the night. Jalen Brunson, who was outstanding throughout the tournament, scored 25 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a double-double: 16 points and 11 boards.
The most surprising contributor of the night was Tyler Kolek; Kolek gave so much energy all night and even earned short minutes. The Knicks now boast depth, and it resulted in their first NBA Cup triumph.
